Application information
Joining a PHI project can be either as a teacher/instructor in shorter training sessions in Sweden or abroad, or as a practicing health worker (clinician/nurse etc.) in one of our collaboration hospitals, which requires a longer commitment.
We feel it is critical that you understand the role of a PHI team member, as well as our organization's mission. Our mission is to share experiences and knowledge about children´s health with pediatric staff in different settings. We are looking for people that are dedicated to this mission, who possess the flexibility to adapt to a variety of situations, that are good communicators, and share the curiosity and desire to develop as healthcare professionals.
As part of your contribution, you are expected to help maintain healthy and creative relationships with our partners and to continuously work towards developing the project. All work within PHI is done ideally and can at times be very time-consuming. You need to consider this before you sign up to join a PHI project.
If you will be offered the opportunity to visit any of our partners abroad, you are responsible for your own health status, up-to-date immunization status and health- and travel insurance. While we do provide some recommendations about these topics, PHI does not take responsibility for any of these matters. Make sure that you know what is required for the particular project that you would like to join. Please contact the local coordinator if you have any questions.
